Every Fourth Dimension Club tee, hoodie and sweatshirt is made to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse with your name on it; your piece is printed after you order it, in the design, size and colour you chose. What does made to order mean for clothing?
Made to order means your tee is printed after you place your order, rather than picked from a stack of pre-printed stock. You choose the design, size and colour, and we make that exact piece for you. It adds a few days at the start, because your piece doesn't exist until you order it.
It's the opposite of how most shops work. A typical store prints a fixed number of each design in each size and hopes they sell. We wait for you to choose first. All it asks of you is a few days' patience and a careful look at the size guide.
How long does a made-to-order tee take to arrive?
Your order goes through four steps: you order, we print it, we check, pack and dispatch it, and the courier delivers it. Processing takes 2–3 days, then shipping generally takes 3–7 days. Metros and big cities usually get it faster, and remote areas of India take longer.
1. You order. Pick your design, size and colour, and check the size guide on the product page, because your tee is made in the size you choose. Changed your mind? You can cancel within 3 hours of placing your order.
2. We print it. Your design is printed to order using DTG (direct-to-garment) or DTF (direct-to-film) printing. DTG prints the ink straight onto the fabric. DTF prints the design onto a special film first, then heat-presses it onto the garment. All-over prints (AOP), where the design covers the whole garment, use sublimation, which bonds the dye into the fabric with heat. Cotton all-over prints are coming soon.
3. We check, pack and dispatch it. Every order gets a quality check before it ships. Printing, checking and packing all happen within the 2–3 days of processing.
4. It's delivered. Shipping generally takes 3–7 days. All order updates and tracking come to you by email and WhatsApp.
Why we make to order
Making to order lets us offer a wide range of designs and sizes without printing shelves of stock that might never sell. It also means we can launch new designs, and whole new collections, without guessing quantities in advance.
Strange Signals, our collection of trippy UFO tees, is a recent example: 15 new designs, each one printed only when someone orders it. You can see what else has just landed in new arrivals.
Fabrics we print on
Our tees come in three weights: a 180 GSM regular half-sleeve tee in cotton, a 240 GSM classic oversized tee in 100% cotton, and a 260 GSM French terry oversized tee in 90% cotton and 10% polyester. Hoodies and sweatshirts are 300 or 400 GSM.

Getting the size right
Check the size guide on the product page before you order, because our fits differ: oversized tees have dropped shoulders and are cut roomy on purpose. If it still doesn't fit, you can request a size exchange within 7 days of delivery.
On our French terry oversized tees, take your usual size for the full oversized look, or size down for a closer fit. Regular half-sleeve tees are cut closer to the body.

If something arrives damaged or defective
Returns are for damaged or defective items only. If your order arrives damaged or with a defect, contact our support team with your order number within 7 days of delivery, and we'll give you a full refund or a replacement. Anything else, including a size that doesn't fit, is handled as a size exchange.
